About the role

We are looking for a Data Input Clerk/Receptionist to join our team with a real can-do attitude who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and willing to go the extra mile for our customers.

  • Do you have an excellent, polite and professional manner with the patience and understanding to provide an excellent service to our customers at all times?
  • Do you have attention to detail, work on your own initiative, have great organisational skills and maintain confidentiality?

In this role you will ensure all our visitors and colleagues receive the best experience at all times, data input is accurate and processed efficiently, whilst continually looking for ways to improve our ways of working to ensure we truly provide the best experience at all times.  

You will be responsible for

  • You will be the first point of contact for all visitors and telephone callers, offering a warm welcome to Best.
  • Facilitate both planned and unplanned visits to site ensuring all visitors to the business are signed in, met by their visit lead, Complete all necessary safety and health questionnaires and access cards are managed effectively.
  • Opening and distributing daily post and franking post in readiness for Royal Mail collection service.
  • Accurate updating and use of multiple databases ensuring key deadlines are met
  • Processing management reports where required including the collation of performance data
  • Monitoring relevant data bases and prompting completion where required, inclusive designated tasks from the operations teams
  • Scanning/photocopying / emailing of documents
  • Ensuring the reception area is always kept clean & tidy

You will need

  • Experience of Operational Admin
  • Excellent organisational and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, Power-point, Word and other relevant tools
  • Reception Experience
  • Confident in Microsoft Excel V-lookup and Pivot tables
