About the role

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to begin or further their career in finance.

You will be responsible for

• Processing purchase invoices and credit notes in a timely and accurate manner
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Handling supplier queries and building strong relationships with clients
• Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records and filing invoices
• Supporting month-end and year-end processes
• Assisting the finance team with ad hoc tasks and administrative duties as required

You will need

• A basic understanding of finance and accounting principles
• Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not essential
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Willingness to learn and grow within the role
