About the role

A fantastic opportunity to join Booker Group as a Merchandising Manager in the Merchandising team.

This is a regional role looking after projects across East Anglia, Kent, Sussex & London. You'll have a company car with this role and therefore a full clean driving licence is required. There may be occasions where you'll need to stay overnight so flexibility is required.

You will be responsible for

As a Merchandising Manager, the responsibilities of the role are:

  • Responsible for delivering all projects on time & to company standards
  • Ensure all projects are project managed
  • Scheduling of projects / merchandisers / agency workers
  • Manage merchandisers' diaries
  • Signing-off of store layouts
  • All projects planned
  • Liaising with key stakeholders
  • Working cross functionally with departments across the Booker Group including Range and Sales Teams
  • Sharing of best practice
  • Liaising with other Teams to manage regional peaks & troughs
  • Coaching and development to create the best Team
  • Management of teams costs

 

You will need

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience within a similar role including excellent people management and communication skills.

Ideally, you will have experience managing a field based team.

Experience of Project Management is preferred.

Experience within the independent retailer sector and FMCG environment would be beneficial.
