About the role

A new opportunity has been created to join our payroll team. The environment is time critical but also dynamic, generating management information for all functions and areas within the business.

Within this role you will be responsible for the provision of management information to the business through running reports from our payroll database (SAP) into Excel, ensuring they are fit for purpose, accurate and accessible to your internal customers.

You will be responsible for

• Producing existing reports and exporting them from SAP to prepared templates
• Ensuring that the reports are correct and timely
• Amending/editing reports either due to an Excel formulae correction, adaptation or new customer requirements
• Maintaining and developing reports to ensure they remain fit for purpose and meet the needs of your customers
• Understanding and translating customer request to provide the best solution to their request
• Responding to and resolving customer queries or escalating as necessary

You will need

• Intermediate Excel experience
• Working knowledge of an MI database
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• An eye for detail
• A logical and analytical approach
• The ability to investigate and resolve queries
• The desire and ability to expand your knowledge of Excel and SAP
